So engrossed was I in my Mumsnet feed that I missed my stop on the train. Now I am going to be late and my DP is cross with me WABI?

He's cross? Why? Confused
Shit happens.

It's happened to both of my teens more than once, and me a number of times. It seems an odd reaction, we usually say 'You narna' and that's it.
Unless a retrieval is necessary from an obscure location, in which case more piss is taken.

I fell asleep once on the way back from Bristol, and ended up in Edinburgh! I should've got off at Derby Blush Damn the ticket inspector who obviously took pity on my tired self and just left me to sleep for bloody hours! Cost me £60 to get home and I was 10 hours late!!! Went down well with ex-dp, who had ds, and work, where I should've been that evening lol

Oh dear.... DH has fallen asleep on the train more than once and missed his stop. It happens only the once for me though

I did this on the bus the other day. Going to uni, engrossed in a thread, then looked up just as I was heading towards the uni on the bus, around a big roundabout. Seems like ages till the next stop and it took a while to walk back too.

My DH has done this a number of times. If he thinks he is going to fall asleep on the train he sets his phone alarm for 5 minutes before his stop.
