To say that Parma Violets are the work of the devil...

And manufacturers who put them in those Hallowe'en tubs are cruel. It will be dark, some poor child will get them by accident and be exposed to the HORRORS!

As bad as custard, octopus, squid and Other Things I can think of at the mo, but will.

YANBU I fell pregnant with dd in my final year at uni, I was about 7weeks and someone in the exam hall was eating parma violets the smell was so off putting I couldn't concentrate and failed that exam.

I retook it at a later date so not the end of the world but the moral of the story is those evil parma violets nearly cost me my degree Grin

I love Parma Violets (my gran always had some to share), but I may be a bit odd because I also love Turkish Delight and Scandinavian style salty licorice. Debating handing out the salty licorice tonight if we get any callers, specifically the ones that look like Rolos. That would be mean, wouldn't it?

I like violets.

I also like rose creams.

We do have chocolate mini rolls btw, they are going down a storm.

I also put three bags of Worcestershire sauce flavoured crisps in my bowl because my DC think they are awful and won't eat them, and they have happily gone
