I love them both dearly, but DD is 8mo, I work full time and I haven't had a day off both work and DD in ages. DP is SAHD but gets Thursdays off as she's in nursery.
Tonight it's me and DDogs. I am reclining in my PJs, covered in canines. Lush.
whispers I do miss them a bit though.

I am happy as DH is away for the night so it is me, the mutt, 15 yo DD and a bottle of wine (for me not DD, she has chocolate)

We had fish suppers for tea and now we are watching Strictly it takes two.

Then i get the bed all to myself. Bliss.

Ha ha....enjoy....

We have a similar scenario at the weekend...me and DS home alone....hopefully a calm, peaceful argument-free zone without DD to wind him up (and vice versa!)

Enjoy yourself! I certainly plan to.

I am really jealous Envy I have had a day from hell with my 3 eldest. Baby has been fine. Would love a night off, in fact I need one and dh has just announced he'll be late home.

Ah you're so lucky, enjoy Smile

My DH works away, he's been away five and a half months so far with just under two to go. DS(4.10) has had 3 or 4 sleepovers in that time and as much as I can't wait to have DH home a lot of the time all I can think is 'I can't bloody wait for a lie-in Smile
