To ask you all for ways to say thank you

To my dh who since my operation last week (not child related op) has been nothing short of amazing, so attentive nothing is too much trouble and has been on call 24/7 should I have needed anything.

We have a good relationship we regularly say how appreciative we are of each other but I just want to do something special for him to say thank you.

He's had his eye on a watch for a long time however it's quite expensive, I could save and get it but I wonder would it be unreasonable to get such a costly gift as a thank you? I could give it as a Christmas/thank you gift?

Sorry this isn't a LTB threadSmile

A watch he really wants would be a lovely idea. It's lovely to see a nice thread about this.

Ah thats a lovely thought, if you think a watch is a bit much, what about one of those 'experience days' if he has a hobby or interest you coudl match one up to? My DSis booked a ferrari driving experience for her DH who absolutely loved it.

I was going to say a card or flowers! I am such a skinflint!
Lovely idea of yours Wholenutt.

What a lovely thought! Yes give it as a Christmas/thank you gift. He won't be expecting it so he will be so happy. Get well soon.
