Totally agree.

kd73 · 27/10/2013 06:01

We are awake and totally agree!

BigSpottyCupofTea · 27/10/2013 06:03

Totally agree - stuck watching episodes of Peppa Pig that I've seen, roughly, a gazillion times already. Guess it puts off the evil Granny Murray for a while tho

ChutesTooNarrow · 27/10/2013 06:06

YANBU stupid arsing clock change.

Rhubarb78 · 27/10/2013 06:07

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 27/10/2013 06:08

DD (27mo) and I have been up since 4.30. Watching Swashbuckle on iplayer (for the gazillionth time). It's either that or the Pingu DVD again.

Wonder what my parents did with me and Dsis at this time of year, in the days of only 3 channels and bugger all for kids - probably just shouted at us to get back into bed or else!

CatAmongThePigeons · 27/10/2013 06:12

DS2 thinks CBeebies starts after 8, handy as we've been up since 445!

I have the news on. YANBU nonetheless.

ChutesTooNarrow · 27/10/2013 06:15

Thanks truth Grin

Cars is one of those films that DS has watched eleventy hundred million times so that every line has permeated into my soul, yet I have never actually watched the film from start to finish.

ScaryBeardyDeadyman · 27/10/2013 06:15

Oh god yes. Although they need something better than tikkafuckingbilla on first thing...

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 27/10/2013 06:19

I might write a strongly worded letter suggesting that at the very least they play Go The Fuck to Sleep on a loop for the extra hour.

I know chutes. Ds and I can act out the crash (complete wuth 'jump' and sticking our tongues out Blush) but I still don't quite know how it ends...

Mouthfulofquiz · 27/10/2013 06:24

YANBU good on milkshake for the 4.45 start....couldn't believe it when I saw cbeebies starting at,6 (or 7 BST) ridiculous Angry

ScaryBeardyDeadyman · 27/10/2013 06:32

truth I'd love them to play that! I have the book, but have to hide it because DD can read now! Still good for DS though Wink

Ginfox · 27/10/2013 06:32

that's terrible. Couldn't someone else (DP?) take the kids and let you have a lie-in?

I always do the early starts because DH just can't function this early. Plus I'm preggers, therefore up every 5 mins to go to the sodding loo anyway.

Bigbouncingbaby · 27/10/2013 06:33

Second that Knicky nearly cried with relief when milkshake on at 5 am big up itv :)

DaddyPigsMistress · 27/10/2013 06:42

The toddler wasnt the problem here. My 11 year old came crashing through at 5 to tell us the clock had changed. He woke up eveyone, the dogs and the people in the downstairs flat.

newmum001 · 27/10/2013 06:48

Yep, even though that program with the Scottish childminder is the most annoying program I've ever seen it beats pissing around trying to find something else to watch at 5am!

Suddengeekgirl · 27/10/2013 06:54

Yes! YANBU! :)

If the government insist on monkeying about with the clocks twice a year then the least they can do is subsidise the BBC for a couple of extra hours of cbeebies on those days!

ATruthUniversallyAcknowledged · 27/10/2013 07:17

Ahhh. Blessed relief. Dh just staggered downstairs. I'm off back to bed. Hope the rest of you manage to keep dc up till 'real' bedtime and they sleep in tomorrow [unlikely face]
