I sold an item, arranged to leave work early to suit buyer at 5pm, no show.
I send her my number to text me when she would like to come. Midnight last night i get a text 'We are coming at 11 tomorrow' no, is is OK will you be in? So I said fine, it's now turned 12 and no show I need to go out, really fed up!

"It will be on the front doorstep at that time. If you don't collect it, it will probably get very wet."

^^Should suffice !

No, they haven't paid me yet, you know what ebay is like for supporting the buyer though I don't want neg feedback so I am being polite, seething though.
I just sent a text saying 'Hi x I was expecting you at 11 I need to go out this afternoon' no response back.
I am going out shopping now so they will have to work around me now!

I feel your pain.

People also do this with Freecycle items, which is a real PITA when you are giving them something for free and doing them a favour. At least then you can put it on your doorstep and it doesn't matter if it gets piss-wet through. Halloween Grin

I hate rude people. just sent her a message on ebay saying in case you didn't get text i shall be out later, let me know when you want to collect.
Bloody timewasters!

I have had a cot bed at my front door for a week now. I offered it to someone on a free facebay site. I've been let down twice already, she's on her last chance to collect the bloody thing she's getting for free.
