Dp went out with some friends last night, I had a lovely evening with dd, watched a film and then got to bed at about 11.
dp came home at around 2, came upstairs with the sandwich I had made him, turned all the lights on up the stairs, on the landing and in the bedroom (halogen spotlights not our softly lit bedside lamps Angry ).
He sat on our bed and ate his food then gets into bed, forgetting to turn the lights off so asks me to turn them off as I'm closest to the door and is shocked when I say no Hmm . he turns the lights off, gets back in bed and cuddles up to me (obviously wanting sex) I tell him I'm tired, will be up with ds in three hours whilst he sleeps his hangover off and am not in the mood after being woken up by him switching all the lights on. so he went in a huff because I was already awake so he couldn't understand why we couldn't have sex.
tbh if he had got in bed without all the drama and woke me up with a cuddle there wouldn't be a problem but I was tired and grumpy.
so AIBU for being annoyed at being woken up like this or is he??

Nope of course you're not! Anyone waking me up at 2am would be lucky not to get punched! Why couldn't he eat his sandwich downstairs, and why would you turn in all the lights. Silly drunken man!

MortifiedAnyFuckerAdams · 26/10/2013 09:39

Drunken knobhead! Hope you went in early and turned on all the lights to.tidy and strip the bed whoich obviously HAS to be done now

MamaBear17 · 26/10/2013 09:39

My husband would have got the hair dryer treatment for turning the lights on!

Squitten · 26/10/2013 09:41

The moment that all the lights went on would have had me raging!

YANBU!

mrsspagbol · 26/10/2013 09:42

What is the hairdryer treatment?

diddl · 26/10/2013 09:43

Bleurgh!

Smelling of drink & then eating & getting into bed without cleaning teeth!
Yuk, yuk, yuk!

How come you had left a sandwich out for him??

sewingandcakes · 26/10/2013 09:46

I used to do the hoovering early on a Saturday in this situation; and let's the kids watch tv as loudly as they liked!

Whocansay · 26/10/2013 10:02

As above. Whatever you're doing this morning, I hope you're doing it LOUD!!!

ticktocticktoc · 26/10/2013 10:05

Smile what is the hairdryer treatment?
I had eaten a sandwich before I went to bed so thought I'd be nice and make him one incase he was hungry when he came home. apparently it was the sandwich that made him want to have sex Shock it made him think about how special I was and how much he loved me because I was so nice to him Hmm .
The changing bed idea would be great, but I only changed the sheets yesterday. dd is still in bed or I would Hoover. I'll think of something he can do to make it up to meSmile . it's a good job I love him, and he doesn't go out very often.

ds was watching cbeebies on the iPad in our bed this morning and I might have let him turn it up a bit louder than usual.
