He just found 2 light bulbs in a cupboard

I took them off him and explained they are not toys and put them in a higher cupboard

He has been lying on the floor, full on tantrum, screaming "My liiiiight bulbs. My light bulbs" and sobbing for 10 minutes

Apparently I am the most unreasonable of mummys ever.

I'm waiting for DS2 to begin to make some recognisable words - he's only just turned one but his histrionic talent is already showing through - when I put him in the playpen he sinks to his knees, holds onto the bars and throws his head back, wailing. All it needs is for the wailing to be more articulate, as in "Whhhyyyyyyyy?! WHHhhhhyyyyyyyyyy??" and we're there.

Sashh I went to my Nan's last year to find my 3yo cousin painting with varnish on a piece of 2x4 and my 6yo cousin sorting through a piles of rusty nails and screws, hammer ready at his side. All 3 of them threw a paddy when I took everything off them and refused to give the 6yo the drill so they could finish building their bridge.

Mine's currently paddying as I won't let him eat the contents of the bin.
