My OH works away all week and I can't get to a slimming group as have 4 DC's. He normally has a lie in on a sat and me on a sun. WIBU to suggest swapping lie ins and me go to slimming world 10 miles away as it's the only one on a Saturday?

Can't you jog there? Grin

Lol I couldn't jog the length of myself. Hence the need for a bit of me time and some weightloss. We are becoming Daisy and Onslow!!!

I used to go to one 9 miles away as it fitted with work, children etc. it also meant that no one I'm my village knew what was doing, which seems to be the case much of the time.

I have to say the anonymity is a massive draw for me as the mums from School frequent our local groups and they are obviously all thing glamourous and stunning next to haggard ageing moi lol.

No I think you are being reasonable - I lost two and a half stone with WW and I used to drive a fair way to the meetings as the meetings were absolutely critical to my staying on track and losing. Good luck hun you are investing in your family's future by getting the weight off and it is nice to have a coffee and listen to the talk xxxx

Thank you Brunette! I don't want to b fat and forty so I have a year more or less to slim. But I need the classes. I just don't have the will power to do it alone. Congrats on your loss I have about 5 stone to loose so I need to get a wriggle on.

Fair enuff, I don't walk the length of my own shadow if I can possibly avoid it. Grin

I go to one around 8 miles away even though there is a closer one because I go with a friend, the other one is closer for her and it was her idea to join. Plus she works and I'm SAHM so I have more free time to be driving there.

I used to go to one about 15 miles away as it was the only one on a Thursday morning. Go for it.
