ILetHimKeep20Quid · 16/10/2013 10:04

TheAngryCheeseCracker · 16/10/2013 10:06

Gambado? Great fun for kids on a rainy day

Rachel778 · 16/10/2013 10:22

We go to the one in Beckenham, ds loves it there is loads to do and plenty of space a carousel, car circuit thing and big soft play. They do food/snacks and lots of seating. And free wi-fi thank god!

Rachel778 · 16/10/2013 10:34

Thanks OneStepCloser . . That sounds fun , , In the past I have taken her to Adventure Kingdom in Bromley ,, however since the move across to the leisure centre I find it pretty claustrophobic and not keen on the diversions of claw machines ..
And I agree , thank god for free wi-fi . .that will be a bonus.

It's expensive and not worth going with under 4's and take your own food.
If in Edinburgh the play centre inside the commonwealth pool is great.

Rachel778 · 16/10/2013 10:50

We would be going an hour after lunch so won't have to buy food .. I like the idea of the carousel and car circuit . Hopefully she will as well

Check before you go- I think you have to join which cost £5 a then also pay to get in and adults also have to pay to get in. This was the case a few years ago - I've not been since then. There is also a softplay in the Beckenham leisure centre which is cheaper, but a bit tall and thin - although my kids love it. Think it may be called 'mytime' or something similar....

Rachel778 · 16/10/2013 11:10

Thanks Pos1 , I will give them a call now .

Yes, there is a joining fee I think, its not overly cheap. The one in Beckenham leisure centre is Buzz Zone, thats good as well for older ish ones, not sure about wi-fi though, can feel like a long afternoon without!

edwinbear · 16/10/2013 12:35

We go, it is on the expensive side, especially when you first join and have to pay the registration fee, but it is brilliant, ds (4) and dd (nearly 2) always have a brilliant time.

wineoclocktimeyet · 16/10/2013 14:17

One of the local magazines/papers (maybe The News Shopper) had a discount voucher last week - you could call them and see if they will honour the deal without the actual voucher?

littleducks · 16/10/2013 14:23

We went once, as part of a large group so didn't have to join. It was nice and kids had fun. That was 3 years ago though and Im not tempted to join as its just too expensive for what it is.

LittleMissStressy · 16/10/2013 14:28

It's great as a treat but for value for money I prefer Rascals in Bellingham

MyNameIsWinkly · 16/10/2013 14:29

It's a bit expensive but clean, big and bright. 16mo twins had a brilliant time playing. So did I :)

PenguinsDontEatPancakes · 16/10/2013 14:32

We weren't keen. Found it big and intimidating for our bold 3 year old. And expensive.
