Sending virtual tea and biscuits.

Feeding colicky DD (4 weeks) and trying to ignore the whining toddler and DHs snoring.

Feeling slightly homicidal...

Moodykat · 16/10/2013 05:36

Hurray for a break. If it helps I'm up and doing washing and jobs as my sinuses hurt so much I can't sleep? And I have to be at work in 3 hours?!

AtYourCervix · 16/10/2013 05:36

Poor LadyF. Hope you are planning a nap later?

Hurrah for the break. I have a bed full of wooden blocks and ds doing a starfish. Out all day today too.

Fivemoreminutesmummy · 16/10/2013 06:19

Ah crap- I hate nights too. I'm on next week and not looking forward to it. You're over the witching hours now though- have you got many more nights to do?

Patilla · 16/10/2013 06:21

Been up lots with upset baby DD with fever.

You have my admiration for even being able to attempt night shifts. My body clock is pretty immovable.

bigkidsdidit · 16/10/2013 06:28

My ds2 is going through the four month sleep regression and was up every two hours. Ds1 woke at 5.30.

DreamingOfTheMaldives · 16/10/2013 06:35

Been awake since 345am with DS. He didn't go to sleep until midnight! I could cry as I can't even have a cuppa or a biscuit as I've got a fasting blood test at 10am.

BeaWheesht · 16/10/2013 06:44

Urgh. Been up with dd since 515. Dh working away today and it feels like a lifetime until bedtime. Dd asleep, ds woken, trying to get him to go back to sleep - not cat in hells chance

dimsum123 · 16/10/2013 07:00

Dreaming you poor thing. I feel like crying for you! Make sure you have a full english brekkie straight after the blood test.

Flossiechops · 16/10/2013 07:09

Feel for you - I used to hate night shifts with a passion (I'm a nurse), that time between 2-6am were agony. That's why I decided 14 years ago to go into community nursing!

Sparklingbrook · 16/10/2013 07:09

Sad DH used to work shifts. Why does working nights mess with your bowels-he always suffered.

AtYourCervix · 16/10/2013 09:04

Is it nearly time to go home? Poor you, hope you feel better.

AtYourCervix · 16/10/2013 09:15

I'm in bed.

Dog destroying his cage noisily and keeping me awake. Git.
