Teeny bit annoying but I'd most probably just shrug it off!

Or call him "pet" or something.

FortyDoorsToNowhere · 15/10/2013 20:20

the customer is always right

Justforlaughs · 15/10/2013 20:27

"love", ok; "darling", pretty common round here; "hunny bun" ??? really??

A customer once came up to me and said "You look nice. Where is x product?" I thought that was weird then after I showed him he said "Ta baby girl!".

An adult saying "ta" to another adult was possibly the most irritating part of that brief conversation.

A man in Sainsburys said ' thanks love' to me so I just said 'that's ok love'

You should have replied 'No problem cutie pie'.

runningonwillpower · 15/10/2013 21:44

But I just hate the patronising 'dear'. No-one who knows me would call me 'dear'.

I'm the anti-dear.

I accidentally called a mum at school darling the other day and pretended I meant to
