The internet (including MN) is full of stuff which is interesting to some, and not to others. Why the need to waste your precious time saying it? It just makes the thread longer (and a hell of a lot more boring), and puts other people down.

While we're at it, it also seems pretty pointless to criticise threads for covering the same ground as has been covered before. What is wrong with discussing the same things in (even slightly) differing ways? Surely this is often what conversation is about?

It bugs me when someone goes onto a thread just to post 'yawwwn'

And even though thread topics do get repeated a lot, it's a lot better then bumping zombie threads imo.

The only thing that annoys me is when multiple threads spring up about the same topic. It's not hard to do a quick check really...as long as someone's bothered to put a proper title up.
