Ive changed my name as im peeved off. I asked for a genuine bit of advice about dd2 school, and i got abuse. Everyone is so unfriendly and jump down ur throat. Its very clicky in here and they all stick togethet. At least on netmums u get a fair hearing and gd advice, its crap here.

People come on here for an ego trip and im sick of it. Have a bit if respect and decency for peoples feelings!!! Grrrrr wish it was properly monitored

Its ok usual I'm rather fond of a sparkly sequinned cover for a vodka bottle that I have I like my vodka glam

It's just all a bit much when everyone is p*g rainbows and s*g glitter.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 11/10/2013 23:44

I like sparkly things too, ilovesooty - maybe we need our own sparkly clique quiche?

HereComesHoneyBooBooDragon · 11/10/2013 23:45

The teeny banshee is very cute nearly four years on, but very very loud still.

ConfusedPixie · 11/10/2013 23:45

All Grin Surely all Kids TV writers are on an acid trip to come out with the stuff that they do?! NM is the equivalent of an acid trip in Strawberry Shortcake land, that is going on my list of things to make me snigger like Muttley Grin

usual Shock Yes, yes it is.

Bugger - it is usualsuspect not ilovesooty who likes sparkly things. The quiche invite still stands. >

50shadesofknackered · 11/10/2013 23:46

Some parents just want hugz and 'it's kool babes, it'll get better' when they need advice regarding their child being bullied.

Other parents actually want constructive advice and couldn't care less if it was sugar coated or not.

Therein lies the main difference between both sites.

On the rare occasions there used to be threads about things other than benefits or breastfeeding on Netmums, I used to post lengthy replies to the quieter ones needing serious advice. And without blowing my own horn (trumpet?), my advice was pretty good.

But most of it was deleted because i'd perhaps used the work 'dick' to describe an abusive partner, or my posts were completely ignored whereas the 'have some hugz chick' ones were met with tonnes of thankz.

Also, i was told by one lovely NM I should have stayed with an abusive partner rather than inflict 'single parentdom' onto my daughter.

And i was told - by the mods - that another member's post couldn't be deleted for calling my autistic daughter a R*rd because it wasn't being used offensively...

So... I'm really struggling to see why you think that heap of pink sickly gibberish is even remotely on par with this site.

Confused
