Ive changed my name as im peeved off. I asked for a genuine bit of advice about dd2 school, and i got abuse. Everyone is so unfriendly and jump down ur throat. Its very clicky in here and they all stick togethet. At least on netmums u get a fair hearing and gd advice, its crap here.

I would also say that MN isn't going to suit everyone. For those it does suit, it is great, and luckily, for those it doesn't suit, there are plenty of other sites with different (not better or worse) ethos's (ethoses??).

In my opinion, websites are like restaurants - you and I might like different restaurants - you look at the menus and decide which one you like. And if I choose a different one, it isn't because it is better than the one you chose - just that it better suits me and my needs at that point in time.

This is why I find it so hard to understand why someone would spend ages telling any website's members why their site is so crap (especially when compared to another site). If I don't like a restaurant - I just don't go back there - simple. It would be madness for me to go back there, and sit at my table complaining about everything, and telling the staff and the other diners how dreadful the place is, and how much better Luigi's down the road is. I'd just go to Luigi's and enjoy my pizza!
