Unbelievable.

RevelsRoulette · 09/10/2013 10:28

Doesn't reflect her normal views my big fat hairy arse! Alcohol doesn't change your views on things. It lowers inhibitions and shows who you truly are.

She said nothing in her drunken post that is not exactly what she truly thinks. She meant it. It's only that when sober, she understands that there are consequences for her so she keeps her real self hidden. Enough alcohol and that self control is gone and ta-da - she shows herself.

I bloody hate it when people try to con everyone with that alcohol did it, it isn't me bollocks. That's not how alcohol works.

MsWilliamTheBloody · 09/10/2013 10:30

I posted an article on Facebook which regretfully offended some good and decent Muslim friends of mine.

Bet they're not her friends any more.

Hmm
Mimishimi · 09/10/2013 10:41

Her husband is probably at least partially Indian right? His apology was swimming with embarrassment and I think someone is going to find herself divorced rather soon. Her abusive message to Ms Gunpath is indicative of that.

allforoneandoneforall · 09/10/2013 10:58

I think her comment was truthful for her, but came across wrong. Hating and wishing extrimests dead (as she said she was watching about the situation in Kenya) is different to Jo Bloggs Muslim down the road. I wish dead all of the bastards involved in the awful Kenya situation, but to refer to then as just "muslims" and not be specific is just stupid and asking for a lashback...

awakemysoull · 09/10/2013 11:04

Islam is a religion, not a race. How is she racist?

I DO NOT agree with what she said I think it's disgusting I'm just failing to see how she can be described as a racist when she made comments about Muslims. Not all Muslims have the same skin colour. Being racist is being hateful towards someone's race, not religion.

Am I just being a bit thick?

Latara · 09/10/2013 11:04

I didn't know about the boat disaster - that's terrible, really sad.

CogitoErgoSometimes · 09/10/2013 11:07

Throttle? No. I think she'll pay the price socially for showing herself up and demonstrated to the rest of us why FB, alcohol and being at a loose end is a dangerous combination.

Fakebook · 09/10/2013 11:12

What a dip shit.

LolaDontCryOverSpiltEggnog · 09/10/2013 11:32

allforone
Even if she says those involved in the Kenyan massacre were who she had in mind the text she sent was enough to say otherwise.

LolaDontCryOverSpiltEggnog · 09/10/2013 11:44

Sorry that sounded a bit arsey!
I just mean I'm doubting this is a one off, when she admits her views are extreme. Smile

Mimishimi · 09/10/2013 11:46

I found the post to MS Gunpath even more offensive than the one where she admits she was drunk.

Latara · 09/10/2013 11:52

I'm from Bournemouth and Poole area. This woman's views don't surprise me really.
Lots of people round here have extreme views like that i'm afraid - they just don't always publicise them.
A lot of those people came out of the woodwork with their views on FB when Lee Rigby was killed - I was shocked by them.

They were going to hold an EDL rally in Bournemouth last Saturday but it got cancelled thank goodness.
Now apparently it won't be until next year.
I felt so annoyed that I've joined the 'Stop the EDL' FB group for Bournemouth and will be protesting if the EDL do come to town (hopefully not outing myself here).
But only about 50 people have joined, probably far less than would attend the EDL march.

Kewcumber · 09/10/2013 11:55

awakemysoul the offence in the UK is "racist and religious crime" which is a bit of a mouthful so "racist" is often used (even by the police as shorthand.

I agree it isn't racist but if there were an offence committed it would actually be the same regardless of whether its race or religion.

Also the boundaries of race/colour/religion are blurred and no-one can quite agree on the definitions! Apparently the crime of being a fuckwit doesn't exist, sadly.

musicismylife · 09/10/2013 12:44

The woman is an arse.

Perhaps it wasn't racist or whatever, but who is to decide?

If it had been 200 white people, I doubt she would have said the same. So you can only assume that because it was non-white people who had drowned, they were more likely to be muslim, in her thick as shit head, anyway.

SDTGisAnEvilWolefGenius · 09/10/2013 12:50

You are spot on, RevelsRoulette - in vino veritas. She should be utterly ashamed of herself.

PurplePidjin · 09/10/2013 13:31

Latara any chance you could pm me some links? I've a few friends who'd join up to stuff like that, as well as (black) dp and me :)

Pendeen · 11/10/2013 11:06

"the offence in the UK is 'racist and religious crime' "

What?

No such 'crime' exists!

FreudiansSlipper · 11/10/2013 13:27

if her views are not racist where do they stem from then

it is ok to like black african people apart from muslim black african people and how do you know them apart

she is racist and she has outed herself

FreudiansSlipper · 11/10/2013 13:31

and the edl's main objections is aimed at muslim extremists Hmm

i would call all edl supporters racist

SmiteYouWithThunderbolts · 11/10/2013 13:32

She didn't say that she wished Islamic extremists had died in place of the 200 African immigrants though; she said she hoped that some of those who had died were Muslim. Utterly inexcusable, vile, and hateful.

Kewcumber · 11/10/2013 14:53

I was paraphrasing - Its the "racist and religious hatred act" and the CPS use the broadbrush "racist and religious crimes" to cover a variety of specific offences.

Sorry if I didn't make that clear - I didn;t think people would be that interested in a detailed post about the specific offences. My point was more that the CPS refer to "race and religious crime but very often people use shorthand of racist (including the police) when they often mean religious too.

Pendeen · 11/10/2013 16:36

Fair enough Kewcumber, it's just that most people actually believe that there is such a crime.
