Dinner eaten, kitchen tidy, dishes done and tomorrow nights dinner in slow cooker ready to put on in the morning. Just about to settle down to finish my kindle book only to find DD lying on the sofa reading a book she has downloaded onto MY kindle Sad.
AIBU to snatch it off her giving the facts that

  1. this is the first time in years that she has actually spent more than 2 hours in the same room as us of an afternoon/evening
  2. It makes a nice change to see her reading instead of tweeting, texting. FBing or damaging her ear drums with the music blasting out her ipod at mega decebels???

Difficult decision--what should l do (she is 18)

'Ooof. I'm tired. I've just done W, X, Y, Z. So are you having fun on my Kindle?'

Alanna1 · 06/10/2013 18:59

Leave it. (Buy her one for xmas).

YouStayClassySanDiego · 06/10/2013 19:00

I have a ds-18.

I'd take it back , don't give in just because if what you've listed above.

Spidermama · 06/10/2013 19:01

I'd let her read and go and get her a Kindle of her own fast. But I'm a complete mug with very little sense of self preservation.
