To be a bit upset by DH's Facebook status?

He's just posted one of those images with a little verse. The verse is 'nobody sees my sadness. Nobody sees my tears. Nobody sees my pain. They only see my mistakes.' I'm quite upset by this. I asked him if that's how he feels, and he said he only posted it 'for a laugh'. He's not very good at talking about his feelings - in fact he point blank refuses to, so I'm left wondering. Our relationship isn't perfect but I thought we were OK, but now I feel quite anxious.

AIBU? I have a non sleeping 8MO and am exhausted and emotional, so perhaps I am.

I wouldn't let my experience scare you, I'm sorry if I've worried you, just sharing really and it is good to be aware.

Lots of people have exes on facebook and their partners see nothing wrong in it, fair enough. However, because of my previous issues, dh and I removed all our exes from our Facebooks when we started seeing each other. Neither of us wanted there to be any opportunities for chats with someone you probably wouldn't want seeing all your stuff normally and some exes you wouldn't even speak to if you saw them in the street but they want to add you on facebook!

There were other signs with my now ex dh too.... changed his password on his laptop (only found out because I went to access some photos to print off and he flatly refused to let me into it) and he'd be glued to the bloody thing up all hours chatting on facebook to anyone and anything (and HER).

And he just sort of changed... didn't want to be at home so much. He was never into going out before and all of a sudden had a second teenage wind and started going out for weekend binges and sleeping on sofas. All a bit daft.

So... don't worry if it's just the one post. But yes it would annoy me.
