I have enormous mouth ulcers, had an allergic reaction on Wednesday where my tongue & throat swelled and now have swollen glands under my jaw.

I want a whole bowl of jelly

So AIBU?

No. Do it. What flavour have you got?

WillYouDoTheMonsterMash · 05/10/2013 09:50

YANBU unless it's orange. Orange jelly is truly shit.

southeastastra · 05/10/2013 09:51

ooh no do it, ouch for you though they hurt! :(

i once made a whole pint of angel delight and hid in the garden eating the lot, was about 10 though in my defence.

TheProsAndConsOfHitchhiking · 05/10/2013 09:52

yadnbu do it. Is it green Jelly? I love green Jelly! Grin

Sparklingbrook · 05/10/2013 09:54

My Mum used to do us green jelly with a tin of pears in. Smile

ClaimedByMe · 05/10/2013 09:54

Orange jelly is only good if you top it up with fresh orange juice instead of water after melting the cubes!

YANBU make and enjoy!!

Sparklingbrook · 05/10/2013 10:06

What about jelly and evaporated milk to make a mousse?

elcranko · 05/10/2013 10:44

I would eat the whole bowl, swollen glands or not! YANBU!

Hope you're feeling better soon OP x

I'm at the vets - so when I get home I'll make quick jel (which is cheating, but I like it)

Just dealt with the major crisis of DD being lost in London while in the vet's waiting room & need to top up my blood sugar asap

Blasted cat

Blasted child

Blasted dh for not dealing with either while I am so poorly

Sparklingbrook · 05/10/2013 10:53

DameFanny · 05/10/2013 10:54

You need ice cream as well.

KatyMac · 05/10/2013 11:43

Dairy free unfortunately

DD arrived without half her kit
Vet bill over £600

You have as much jelly as you like, whenever you want it.

DameFanny · 05/10/2013 12:25

You're local to me in Norfolk I think? Booja Booja do an amazing dairy and soya free chocolate ice cream. Just saying.

MrsSpencerReid · 05/10/2013 12:28

If you add yogurt (soya) after melting cubes it makes yummy jogurt!! Mmm, want some now Grin

PeppiNephrine · 05/10/2013 12:39

If you're still in pain you might want to try the drs instead of the vets. IT's be cheaper too?
Wink

KatyMac · 05/10/2013 12:45

Off to sewing ballet costumes (very late)

Cat kept at the vets bill gone up to £1000
