I bought an isis slimline dishwasher 2nd hand but in wicked nick. fetched it home and plumbed it in. It blew a fuse, which I then changed, and then changed again as the original fuse was a three amp. The instructions said it needed between a 10 and 16 amp. Sorted that, tried to set it away. it started but then has paused about five minutes into the cycle. Checked everything and found the water in hose was kinked. unkinked it and the thing washed dishes beautifully. Now the stupid thing has paused again five mins in. the hose is not kinked and I'm losing the will to live. Can ANYONE advise me on a home fix before I have to do a murder.

Hmm, doesn't sound to be in great nick if it won't function. Do you have the instruction manual, or have you found it online? There might be a troubleshooting section.

It has done a complete cycle perfectly. It's less than a year old, and it has a manual, with a troubleshoot section which seems to indicate the water hose. there are several things that it could be, but I feel sure nothing too major..... just stumped and really pissed off

Are you sure it's stuck and not just at a "pause" bit of the cycle? Ours often does nothing for a while at certain stages...

Otherwise, google it - I've fixed our washing machine several times (for minor issues) using information found online!

ha ha ha excellent name inigo - You killed my father.... prepare to die! Yep I'm positive it's stuck. I will totally google it though.

It's fixed! sorry about late update. It turned out the valve on the inflow pipe was stiff/dodgy. Yippee
