To think that if I have a sign on my door saying 'No door to door salespeople' then door to door salespeople shouldn't bother knocking

I work nights so I have this sign because I was constantly being disturbed by cold callers who would see my car and assume someone was in, so knock repeatedly.

Feck off just feck off......

Any chance you can contact your local pcso and ask for a no cold caller zone in your area. They should have a email contact.

Put a sign on your door saying:

"No cold callers, I work nights. Anyone stupid enough to ignore this sign watch out for the water "

FlapJackOLantern · 02/10/2013 18:11

But it doesn't apply to them themselves, does it? Just chuck a jug of cold water over their heads !

FlapJackOLantern · 02/10/2013 18:12

Snap, Laurie !

Do you want to actually let people know that you aren't at home at night?

propertyNIGHTmareBEFOREXMAS · 02/10/2013 18:17

Yanbu.Open the window and shout at them.

iwouldgoouttonight · 02/10/2013 18:18

YANBU. We live in a no cold calling area and we have signs on the door saying this and that we will contact the police if anyone knocks uninvited. They still bloody knock!!

SadBadMadFat · 02/10/2013 18:26

Same with 'no junk mail'

still get it though
