To ask about Thyroids....

OH having massive mood swings (which I am really struggling with) and sweats and hot flushes and we are waiting on blood tests coming back from Drs to confirm he has an over active Thyroid.

Does anyone have any experience of this and if so how long does it take for the medication to control it?

It's like living with a hormonal teenager atm..

Can't speak from a man's point of view but have had under active thyroid for a long time now... Is there weight gain, sleeping a lot, especially wanting to nap after lunch?
Could it be lack of testosterone? That also causes the symptoms you are describing

No weight gain but very sleepy sex drive not affected.

Just the irrational mood swings worst for me and hot sweats etc for him :(
