I think it's quite funny too. Someone sent me a cartoon poster once of a little girl struggling with a maths problem. She tried, tried, tried a different way. Then at the bottom the caption says "Fuck this shit, I'll be a stripper" I guess you have to see it to see how funny it is.

I think the notion that any child (ignoring the fact it's got swearing etc in) who potentially saw it then grew up confidently thinking an education should be poo-pooed in preference of getting her norks out, because of a novelty poster or a sign, is ridiculous

I don't think it's to be taken seriously. It's just childish nonsense like all the others on that site.

I think its awful, but then I do feel slightly guilty because I do play the dumb card from time to time, and also the helpless card when need arises.
