Many of you may know who I am when I post this so please don't out me.
DS lives away from home in residential college and gets benefits once a fortnight. EVERY fortnight since last Dec his benefits have been late going into his account. He has to go to his Benefits lady in college who has to ring up and EVERY time they say they will sort it and they don't. My ds is autistic and needs to know that things that are supposed to happen WILL happen!
Benefits Agency want to cancel and then start a new claim,,,,,,they say it wont affect his payments but we have heard this all before and don't trust them.
Tomorrow with the blessing of his benefits lady I am contacting his local MP. I am absolutely fuming about this!

When I rang up the woman accused me of sounding aggressive when I was actually being icily calm. I did tell her however that if I ever did get aggressive then she would know all about it!

MP has been contacted and is happy to help!!

Good news then, MrsBA. Keep plugging away though.

I had an email from the MP's secretary this morning copying me into a fantastic email that she has sent to the Benefits Agency. She worded it so well explaining how disappointed ds was when he had no money to go to the shops with! I just hope that the BA get their arses into gear now!
