to think this is unnecessary and takes the fun out of a Kinder Suprise?

Whilst out shopping yesterday I noticed that Kinder eggs now come wrapped in blue, pink or original orange wrappers Sad .

The blue ones contain a car and the pink a fashion model.

Surely this is a genderisation too far and the whole point of the eggs was that you got a toy regardless of your gender?

Mildly sad about this one. Not distraught as I was about pink Lego.

Leo is an abomination. This is shit.

What's next? Gender-based yoghuets? Hmm

whatshallwedo · 30/09/2013 19:40

It's grim, isn't it MrsW?

whatshallwedo · 30/09/2013 19:42

Good on your dd for choosing the one based on the toy alone. Why on earth do children need to feel as though they should only have pink and fluffy things as a girl and blue as a boy?

Also I am aware this topic has been done to death but I was astounded to see such a previously gender neutral item be re packaged in this way.
