I don't know, but I'll need them too. DS1 is about to start learning the chanter. And guess what they learn after that......... Grin

Mine did violin which was ok but has now expressed interest in trombone. Ear plugs for whole street I reckon.

Nope, lowland or border pipes if anything, but he really wants to play in a pipe band.

Actually I really like the pipes, and if he's any good, he could have a wee sideline playing at weddings and the like. There's good money in it!!

Almost Travelin. It's the bit with the holes where you put your fingers to make the notes.

They start on a practice chanter which is actually not too loud then build up to the full pipes at a later stage.

I am really looking forward to it actually. I play trad music, not the pipes though, and would love to be able to play tunes with him.

DS2 is 3yo and he wants to play the "Boom Boom Drum on my tummy" Smile He loves pipe bands too Grin
