Even though dh has? Clearly he is not raging like I am.

Hard day at work coupled with a bad headache have left ne feeling and acting like a bear with a sore head. I apologised for being a grumpy cow to dh and took myself to bed.

Still awake when he gets to hed and he was watching something that was making an awful.noise. I asked what it was and he said it was a show about lions attacking donkeys and how donkeys are bred docile.

I said it was awful that they are bred that way and then attacked by lions. He said it was "fascinating". I said it was a sick thing to happen and to watch.

He then kicked off "theres no talking to you, dont know what the hell is the matter with you, it was a show about it, not of it" (didnt sound like that to me from.the noises).

Silence and now he is snoring away and I am raging.

You're being rather unreasonable...you haven't had a good day and by your own admission have been grumpy. DH was minding his own business watching TV....(though a tv in the bedroom is NEVER a good idea) and you went in and spoiled his show...I don't really blame him. But instead of raging...have a glass of something and go back to sleep.

He sounds like a bit of an ass your fella .have a glass of wine and try and relax

MortifiedAdams · 25/09/2013 22:09

I was in bed. He came in. We dont have a tv in the bedroom - he was watching it on his phone.

Oh, and he gave the excuse "It was Attenbrough". Still doesnt stop the fact that docile helpless animals are being savaged for entertainment.

I think condemning him for finding the show interesting was a bit much, especially after you had already been grumpy towards him this evening. There's no point apologising if you are going to carry on being grumpy!

I reckon sleeping on a row is a good idea. It gives each person a time to cool off.

Mind you, I also reckon bedrooms are for sleeping in. If DW wanted to watch television I reckon I'd be switching off the house's power supply at the mains.
