Have set the alarm on my ipad but what if for some reason it doesn't go off. But my eyelids are getting so heavy and I really just have to fall asleeeeee.....zzz

Go for it. But set a back up alarm on phone or something as well.

Oh come now, of course it will go off.
However, a 40 minute nap can leave you feeling a bit minging - around 20 minutes is better.

I did this once. Despite the alarm I woke up 10 minutes after I was supposed to pick DD up. Ooops

Isn't it funny how we become heavy eyed just before we are due to kick-start again?

I've just had a little nap :) my alarm is set as standard for 3pm as I do have a habit of falling to sleep if I blink for too long!! Complete insomniac by night, but could fall asleep on a washing line at any point during the day
