"America's Got Talent" should have better talent than Britain's Got Talent - and yet having just sat (not through choice, just as background to mumsnet while kids are watching it) through the live finals they are really bad!!!!

Ah, yes but don't forget the contestants are chosen not for being the most talented but for being the ones that will generate the most money for the programme and it's creators!

I'll be amazed if any of those acts generate any money at all tbh! They are awful!

who won I stopped watching as the auditions are so long and the acts were just awful A GT usually have great finalists I think a ventriliquist (sp) won last year

Do they not get a slot in vegas as a prize

No idea who won, no idea of any names at all. 3 out of 6 acts went home, obviously not over yet! Only on in the background, just looked up in disbelief at the awful caterwailing etc going on!
