...To want to eat my baby?

My 5 month old is just...too much. He's becoming worryingly cute. I am DANGEROUSLY close to full on chowing down on one of his chubby lil' ham hock legs. Sprinkling a bit of seasoning on there, perhaps adding a thyme garnish and having a good old nosh. Anyone else ever feel the same?

Babies are delicious... I can't help but have a nibble of my 4mo!

Jbck · 21/09/2013 16:56

Neither of my DDs were ever chubby babies, little skint bunnies both but I woud happily have sunk my teeth into their tiny peachy bottoms.
DD2s at 5 is still small enough to tempt me and she'll run past me to the shower shouting ' Who wants to eat my stinky butt!' Kind of puts me off a little Grin

I want to nom my porky 4month old. He has these munchy little roles of fat that I want to rub my face in. And the cellulite on his chunky little butt is DIVINE

thebody · 21/09/2013 17:21

seriously worrying
I was kissing my 14 year old dd as she slept last night, obviously not allowed when she is awake as it's 'yeuk' I felt myself munching on her hair and sucking her ears. unfortunately she woke up and screamed.. Grin

you midnight munching vampire! Grin

WingDefence · 21/09/2013 18:05

I frequently tell people that I could quite happily BBQ 6mo DD's huge scrummy thighs and she has seven creases on each chubby arm!

I read somewhere it's completely normal. There was a scientific reason for feeling this way but I can't remember what. Hmm Grin

ClenchingPanda · 21/09/2013 18:24

I am reading this with heavily engorged boobs and thinking about how totally scrummy my 8week old DS is is making them leak all over. YADNBU.

JesusInTheCabbageVan · 21/09/2013 18:29

OhForDucks Sounds to me like intrusive thoughts - often a symptom of OCD and particularly pure O. Poor her Sad

quirrelquarrel · 21/09/2013 20:00

She didnt eat them though best line I've read on AIBU in ages.....

mehimandthegirls · 21/09/2013 20:07

YADNBU!!! My 5 month old is CUTE! I regularly pretend to munch on her feet- she loves it! I STILL fill up when I go get her when she wakes up in the morning!

Ezio · 21/09/2013 20:14

My DD is 6 years old, and i still find her scrummy, and she secretly like me nomming on her, although she protests, she still laughs.

thegreylady · 21/09/2013 20:14

I have a little munching rhyme which I started for ds 43 years ago and my dgc still love.
It is a parody of a rather unpleasant nursery rhyme:
Baby xxx is so good
We wont chop him/her up for firewood.
I'll tell you what we'll do instaed
We'll make him/her into gingerbread.
Gingerbread is good to eat
First the hands and then the feet
Bite the toes of one by one
Until every bit is gone.
This is accompanied by suitable nom nom nom noises and kisses and finishes with a raspberry on thebelly.
I don'tthink ds would be too impressed now though :)

Mouthfulofquiz · 21/09/2013 20:17

In the morning when I unzip my ds's little sleeping bag and find two little hot legs in there I always always have a chomp on a chubby leg and kiss his feet!!! He expects it now!!! Hahahahah

Thepowerof3 · 21/09/2013 20:17

I love getting lost in my 9 month old DS's neck folds and want to bite his chubby butt and he crawls about

timidviper · 21/09/2013 20:17

There's a phrase that lots of Liverpudlians use as endearment to babies which is "Ooh I could put you on a butty". Used to say it to mine a lot when they were little and gorgeous.

My grandad used to eat my ears, apparently they taste of cheese and onion. I thought it was great fun and very ticklish. Now my niece (2yo) covers her ears with her hands whenever she sees him.

wigglybeezer · 21/09/2013 20:25

I nibbled my 7 month old niece at the weekend but I did ask permission first.

PostmanPatAlwaysRingsTwice · 21/09/2013 20:40

My 2yo squeals 'no mummy, MINE botty!' as I take large bites out of his bum after bathtime. I can't help myself.

GreatSoprendo · 21/09/2013 20:45

My DS is a 5 month old chubster with chicken drumstick thighs, three chins and fat bracelets round his wrists. I chomp on him all day long. It's impossible to resist!
YANBU in the slightest. It would BU not to do it.
timidviper - I will def be using the butty phrase as soon as he wakes up tomorrow morning - it's lovely!

BooCanary · 21/09/2013 20:49

Thank god for my niece. Now my DCs are out of baby/toddlerdom, I now have a new baby to nom nom nom on!

Chubby wrist kissing, yummy thigh squidging, and plenty of baby head smelling!!!

RedlipsAndSlippers · 21/09/2013 20:53

Ooh I used to love DDs chubby little hands and the rolls on her thighs! Now she's four I get told off though, "I'm not licious mummy, cos I'm not food!"
I still get away with it occasionally, but only of she's feeling cuddly.

elcranko · 21/09/2013 21:41

YANBU! My DD is just yummy, I want to eat her on a butty!
