to ask where to take 2 small children near leicester general infirmary?

Travelling there to visit a relative who we've just discovered (half way there) won't be well enough to see the children today. Need to visit one at a time and go somewhere nearby with the children. Park? Soft play? Pub with play equipment?

There is the infirmary and the general hospital, they are no where near each other, which are you going to?

The space centre is about 15 mins from the infirmary.

For the general, not a lot there but walkable into the city centre where there are loads of cafes. There is a 3 floor toy shop called Dominoes which has a cafe attached.

How old are the children?

Probably a bit late now but head into town, wander around domino's, have something to eat, then head back.

If you are staying overnight and need somewhere to go tomorrow the hobby horse pub on the A607/A46 has a soft play and is about 15/20 mins from the general
