I got married about a year ago, no kids, I had house before we married, haven't changed deeds to include him but he has paid a contribution towards bills

What do you think you've fucked up?

Has he asked to have his name on the deeds?

Is the mortgage just in your name too?

Are you thinking of splitting up? If you're not, does it matter who's on deeds, paying bills etc?

Are you getting divorced? Is he basically a decent person?

Does the money he give you go specifically towards the mortgage, or is it just general money towards all bills?

What other things does he pay for round the house?

There may be a resulting trust situation, but it's difficult to know.

Don't you want him to be entitled to your house / a share of it?
