First meet with online dating guy scheduled for tomorrow lunchtime. He left it to me to choose somewhere I'd feel comfortable so I chose Moseley thinking it was a cool place to meet Hmm , though don't know it that well. Now I haven't got a clue where to say we'll meet - we're both in our 50s - and don't want to end up in a pub.

Getting in right state over this Confused

AIBU to think someone with local knowledge can pick me out a location (with parking) and decent coffee and atmosphere and not noisy etc etc

There is a nice independent coffee shop on the corner opposite the chantry road/ alcester road junction with parking a bit further up the residential road it is on the corner of if that makes sense!

I found it when dd did a music exam in the church on the corner of chantry road!

Google maps probably explains t better thn I do.

Caveat dunno about "atmosphere" I was there a breakfast time but the choice of breakfast fare and coffees/teas was great!

try THE CROSS (parking opposite) there is an independent coffee shop a bit further up near the Oxfam bookshop)

Maison Mayci was very nice. Patisserie and light lunches.

2+2 That's the French-ish place just by the Co-Op, in the building that used to be Sage Wholefoods? Indeed, nice place. Ideal for the OP.

Another vote for lovely Maison Mayci!
