Some great names here!

At my school we had a Miss Thick.

Also a Mr Santer, a Mr Beard (which I misheard and spent the first term thinking he was Mr Beer), a Mrs Monk (who taught RE, of course). I'm sure there were more but can't remember. I don't think many people really took the piss though, they were all nice and good teachers.

My latin teacher was Miss English.
Mr. Hill was about 6'7" and poured himself out of a mini each morning!
We had a Mr. Hoare, I think he taught R.E.
Can't remember any particularly strange ones.
