At my school we had a Miss Thick.

Also a Mr Santer, a Mr Beard (which I misheard and spent the first term thinking he was Mr Beer), a Mrs Monk (who taught RE, of course). I'm sure there were more but can't remember. I don't think many people really took the piss though, they were all nice and good teachers.

Oh, just remembered - I was taught Latin by Alice Cooper :)

Outing myself badly here, but our headmaster was Robin Hood.

Just remembered my college tutors surname was craddock, perfectly ok unless your first name is Annie like hers

My latin teacher was Miss English.
Mr. Hill was about 6'7" and poured himself out of a mini each morning!
We had a Mr. Hoare, I think he taught R.E.
Can't remember any particularly strange ones.

My primary school headmistress was called Mrs Dim.
