AIBU to expect my DH to take his keys with him?

Not life and death situation but really getting on my nerves! My DH plays football on a Tuesday and Thursday night. He leaves the house at 8.45 and often is not back til 10.30 or later. He shares lifts with 2 other friends so they take turns driving. I use the time to finish tidying up, make lunches, mumsnet obvs and generally grab an hr to myself(5DC so rare peace to be had!!). Usually i am in bed when he comes home. On the nights he is not driving he doesn't take his car/house keys with him in case he loses them so I have to get out of my nice warm cosy bed to let him in. For some reason this really infuriates me as in yet another demand on me when I am possibly relaxing! His argument is that I'm not asleep so it's no biggie!

Am I being unreasonable or would you greet your DH with a big smile and a welcome home honey!

Perhaps you could put them under the mat/flowerpot/wherever just before you go to bed?
