Don't get me wrong its not that I don't miss him but the thought of a whole kingsize bed to myself until dd comes up at 3am is just too much!

I used to love it when my DP worked away.

Enjoy having the bed to yourself.

We have separate beds Grin in different rooms and have had for ages now...
(We both snore like chainsaws and get up at different times, so it makes sense for us, and the "sneaking about" spices up the somewhat jaded after all these years love life Grin )

Squiffie · 16/09/2013 23:28

I feel like I should be sleeping but I'm just enjoying the space and browsing mumsnet without dh huffing and puffing and think going to sleep would just ruin the appreciation!

Ooh 'sneaking about' and I there was me that was just something you did so as not to wake the kids!

My feet are freezing though without dh to warm them up on. Any suggestions? Confused

FreudiansSlipper · 16/09/2013 23:33

do you have a cat they are good for keeping feet warm

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 16/09/2013 23:37

Well we do have 5 with 4 still at home Grin but a bit of "what if someone hears us/walks in on us" brings back that "teenage glow" and makes us feel all young and dirty again Grin AND if I visit his bed, he gets to sleep in the damp patch Grin

Squiffie · 16/09/2013 23:38

I forgot about the cat! Put her out for the night now! Do you think one of the children might serve the sane purpose? Wink

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 16/09/2013 23:41

Nope lol - who said it was his damp patch Wink Grin (he has had the snip twice lol so no condom to catch the ah, detritus though, having said that-- )

Squiffie · 16/09/2013 23:41

PomBearWithAnOFRS · 17/09/2013 15:43

He got one side done once and the other side donw twice - looonngggg story Grin involving his weirdly shaped ah, pipework in his testicles Hmm and a doctor who couldn't tell his left from his right...

cricketballs · 17/09/2013 17:34

I love my DH but I also love it when he works away! I have the TV remote to myself, all of the bed and I cook all the stuff he hates but I love!

digerd · 17/09/2013 18:30

And a shortabsence makes the heart grow fonder, as the saying goes Wink

Squiffie · 18/09/2013 00:07

Poor hubby having to go through that twice! even though I did lol

Perhaps teaching left from right needs to be incorporated into medical training just in case Hmm
