..to want to sew my name into my nice new jacket as if I'm six?

It's a lovely new "leather" jacket from Wallace... I've hankered after it for a while (of course the sale ended today when I finally went to get it - of course - Hmm but I still had to have it after battling city traffic in my lunch hour for specifically that purpose) and I am loathe to let it out of my sight at work! I really, genuinely want to purchase embroidered name tapes with KrispyCakehead on just so I can sew one into the collar!!!!!

The only other alternative is to keep it on at all times and to be honest that seems quite reasonable too really!

I have an umbrella from 6th form that I sewed a label onto. I think I've probably lost a zillion others since then, but I still have that one. Do it!

Have there been many thefts/things go missing where you work?

RibenaFiend · 16/09/2013 16:18

See your name in! No one should ever need know it's there anyway Smile

Good idea - go for it! I once bought a second hand cashmere overcoat for my (now ex) husband. It looked brand new and was his pride and joy, as well as wonderfully warm and soft. He went to a meeting with his accountants, hung it up in the outer office, and it was NICKED! He never saw it again. Though I don't support a nametape saying 'Oldgrandmama's soon to be ex husband) would have kept it safe! Confused

Why not? Sounds like a good idea to me.

Um no.. no thefts that I know of recently.. but it seems so vulnerable with no name in it.. as if it's yelling "steeeeeal meeee!" :) (I am not usually so materialistic)
