I don't think it's that much of an emergency. He has gone a serious image revolution since his youth when he was definitely odd looking. He is an attractive middle aged man. He always looked old, but now somehow he looks young for his age and the baldness suits him.

Not sure about "hot" but he's a long way from awful looking.
