to think I can drive to Wembley Stadium tomorrow

. . . and find some on-street parking. Am prepared to walk or get the tube, ie I'm not expecting to park right outside. Logistics around the children are stopping us catching the coach (leaves too early) and I'm worried about missing the last train home. Anyone got any suggestions?

Nope, I wouldn't even bother. You honestly will not be able to park anywhere nearby in Wembley because of the Event one parking restrictions.

You can park up in Stanmore and then get the tube to Wembley Park.

Can you drive to somewhere like Watford or Amersham then take the tube? it looks lie the last saterday night train to from Wembley Park to Amersham is at 21 minutes past midnight

Depends where you are coming from though.

Or park in Stonebridge or Harlesden near to the Harrow Road and get an 18 bus to Wembley? There are plenty of residential roads to park on - parking restrictions usually end on Saturday lunch time.

My DH always uses the official parking. It's expensive but he says it always works really well.

Found on-street parking just beyond the event zone. The choice was £28 for official parking, or free parking with a 20 minute walk, which also took us ahead of the traffic on our way out of London. Would do the same again.

That was a good result. £28 is a lot on top of everything else and a 20 minute walk is nothing.
