To see a different film to DH today, on our trip to cinema?

He wants to see Rush. I want to see About Time. They are screening at same time, do we separate and meet for lunch after. Or is that terribly un romantic ( we have been wed 20 years!)

I saw about time last week - you will love it. I can honestly say that I think your dh will like it too, it provokes lots of funny and interesting 'what if' discussions so maybe try and persuade him

Until DC2 was born both DH and I had unlimited tickets for the local cinema. We would frequently see different films even if we went to the cinema together. Sometimes, before DC1 was born, we would go and see two films each, one together and one separately. :)

Personally I'd go to see both. One before lunch and one after. But then I could spend days in the cinema.

Yes do it. Mind you last time we went to separate films he saw "True Grit" and DD and I went to "Black Swan". We came out utterly traumatised and wished we had gone to the western instead.

Glad he wasn't with me. Ending very sad, I sobbed, and given his family history, he would have too. He loved Rush, said it was much better than Senna.
