To invest in a truckload of YPLAC stickers for my street

We live on a fairly narrow street, with single yellow lines on one side and free for all parking on the other. We're one of the few houses on our side to have off street parking but we have to drive down a very narrow alleyway to get to it.

Someone has parked for the last couple of hours with their bonnet about a foot over the alleyway so we can't get cars in or out. No idea which house the driver has gone into so in an emergency we'd be fucked or would have great pleasure calling the police on them This happens about once a fortnight although we've left notes for the regular offenders so they've stopped doing it quite so often. This particular one has annoyed me as there are 2 completely free spaces behind it.

Pretty much every night though someone parks almost directly opposite the entrance to the alleyway so either we have to do about a 15 point turn to get out, or we can't get out at all. Not a problem generally overnight but it is a problem if it's still there in the morning. I asked one of the regulars to move about a foot further down once and she looked at me like I'd grown two heads.

I genuinely don't know what goes through the minds of people who park with no consideration for others. Are they this fuckwitted in other areas on their lives? AIBU to buy a load of YPLAC stickers (or make my own that say "My car is older than yours and I don't care about hitting your car if I need to get out in a hurry" with a nice PA smiley on it) and leave them on the offending cars?

My settings say that site falls into pornography and won't let me access it!
Anyway I've worked out the initials.

Do you have a 'Parking like a Twat in (your town) ' page on Facebook - photo and shame in our area!

I realise this is an old thread.
Fill in form 888 from DVLA, and/or use your household/car insurance legal protection, and/or some free legal advice from CAB/elsehwere. Get the registered keeper's address details from DVLA (888 form, cost 2.50) and write to them to tell them to "cease and desist". Also, as this is anti social behaviour, tell your local Community Police (and remind them it IS THEIR JOB to do something about it). It is not your job to leave notes, however polite...
If it is a public road, find form 966, as that sort of twuntery arguably is s.3 RTA all day long, primarily as that offence has a low threshold.
But definitely post on YPLAC.
(Probably the sort of twunt who does not use their indicators/tax their car/stays in the middle lane come what may/is otherwise a twunt anyway.)
