SkinnybitchWannabe · 05/09/2013 20:34

I hate the term 'I can't be asked' ..It's 'I can't be arsed' ffs

maras2 · 05/09/2013 20:34

I don't get bugged by it but wonder why some folk tend to get His and He's mixed up.Also weird is confusing advice and advise.

VikingLady · 05/09/2013 20:35

Alot. It's two words, neither is long or complicated!

BellaTheGooseIsDead · 05/09/2013 20:35

The letter "H" is pronounced, "Aitch".

Bizarrely, it is most often used by people who drop it in general speech. I wonder why this is?

My friends little boy calls my husband "the shoulder" ... He's a soldier!! But I'll let him off, he's 4

cantthinkofagoodone · 05/09/2013 20:41

Viking, that is why kids are awesome.

I know people can struggle with grammar but surely they don't write somethink or everythink, so why say it?

I also am not a fan of prolly for probably

mersea208 · 06/09/2013 19:58

What annoys me is "awright?" when you pay for something at the till in a shop. No, it is not "awright" it is "good morning"/"sorry to keep you waiting"/ "good morning"/"good afternoon". Should this thread be in Pedants Corner?

Florabeebaby · 06/09/2013 20:49

Should of. Ugh!

Nicknameinvalid · 06/09/2013 21:16
