Conversation with my sister has just gone thusly:

'My two girls have worms, we've treated them now but they've obviously picked them up from your kids so please make sure yours are treated too'.

My three are worm free, by the way.

Ditto the nits, the colds, the pox and the fucking Kawasaki disease. All of which she tried to pin on my children.

I am so sick of this.

AIBU?

You need a ball. Unclean. Unclean.

For your sister.

So tell her that your kids are clear

CatAmongThePigeons · 31/08/2013 10:38

Can you get gas tight suits for when your sisters children are near yours?

WayHarshTai · 31/08/2013 10:39

I have done, obvs.

Her response to that is that sometime worms are really hard to see and I obviously haven't checked hard enough.

She is ADAMANT that they have come from us. Just like every bug her two have ever had.

she is mad. my ds3 had kawasakies. it is really quite rare! and very serious!

is she being jokey? try providing those little face masks and disposable gloves each time the kids come into contact and show her how riddiculous she is being.

cold, chickenpox, nits are practically endemic they could have caught them anywhere.

WayHarshTai · 31/08/2013 10:47

We are just unclean, you see, compared to them.

NOthing to do with the 30 other children at preschool, oh no.

Oh, she does know that the Kawasaki didn't come from us, but DN was ill for weeks before it was diagnosed and that was blamed on us. She is better now, thankfully, but was very very ill.

Oh yes. Paper suits off amazon. Gloves. Wipes. Antibacterial gel.

Hand them to your sis every time she comes round Grin

noblegiraffe · 31/08/2013 10:51

Say, nope, mine definitely don't have it, thank goodness your kids didn't give it to them. Luckily mine are very good with hand hygiene.
