Side view is relevant to interpretation depending on perspective and upon rotation.
For example: my husband and I were having an argument regarding the correct naming of the position of his truck tray when putting items on the tray. I thought closest to the cab would be called the back because when you are looking at it from the rear it is the furthest away. But probably more correctly (not that I would admit it to him) he suggested that was the front because it is more frontal of the truck itself.
Therefore the addition of a label of the "top" is required.
Teacher B
In the case of the question- the side view is the same for left and right. The only other way for them to interpret it would be to draw the plan ? and as the question asks ?for the figure shown? drawing the plan as the side view would not be for the figure shown.
So -WIBU -is the inclusion of the word and arrow pointing to the top needed?
