To wonder if other MNers look through old posts and wonder if the person resolved their problem?

I'm a bit of a newbie and love digging round and reading old threads. Sometimes I will go to post a reply but then remember that the thread is old and I don't want to turn it into a zombie thread!

I always wonder what happened to that person and if they sorted out what they were writing about in the thread.

Anybody else love nosing around on MN??

Yes, it's especially annoying when it's a zombie thread and its 2 years on. It's so tempting to say to the OP, how'd it all go?!

I'm actually wondering about a thread from earlier on today which I can't find. It was a mother worried about the fact her teenage daughter was being excluded by 'friends'. Felt for both Mum and daughter so much.

Yes, especially if its an old thread about someone's sadness that they haven't been able to conceive and have been trying for ages. I then like to look at their recent posts and am always hurrah-ing when I see they've posted something about their toddler!
