If I am will to pay the postage- give me the damn things!

This may be my first foray into aibu, however I defy anyone to disagree!

You see I have two very particular first world problems.

1. I live in Ireland-rural
2. I need want crystal or chrome curtain hold backs. ( not tie backs mind you!)

So my locality produces nada. I'm not overly concerned as I have lovely amazon. But the ones I want won't ship to the bloody republic! I have no problem paying the postage. Why would an apparent company not want my money? I've tried emailing other companies before but they don't reply.

I'm sick of this happening with amazon! I want my my holdbacks!

Does anyone know why this happens? or solution

I found some identical ones on eBay - with worldwide shipping.

I don't see why they won't ship to the republic if you're willing to pay, it's not exactly a high risk country and curtain hold backs are not something major criminal gangs are much interested in as far as I know.

Possibly their computer systems can't handle non uk postage ??? Grasping at straws a bit though!

Google package hotel, they delivery to lockers around ireland from sites that dont deliver to ireland by using a ni postcode and redirecting your post to town near you for small fee, aunt users it all the time and gets the free uk postage that some campanies do so works out cheaper than airmail to ireland
