To think my HA are a bunch of muppets?

I posted on a few threads recently about my HA, and how bloody crap/stupid/idiotic they are, but they've outdone themselves today.
A few weeks back, I was sent a letter about a mattress which had been left out the back in the shared courtyard. This is shared by three blocks.
It wasn't mine, so I called and told them, fine they said, I wouldn't be billed for its removal.
Today a letter arrived, asking for payment for the removal.
To be fair, they haven't billed me, they've billed my 11yr old DD!
Honestly, they are completely useless.

Honestly, they can't even check the name on the tenancy before sending the bill that they said they wouldn't send.

I would love to know which HA. Is it a national or regional one?

Mine is crap too. Still glad to have them messing things up, then a private landlord.

I excuse them too much sometimes...

Yes, I'd rather this than a private LL, but still, this is just laughable.
How hard is it to check the tenancy?
