to be frustrated by the madness that is shoe shelves in shops

try saying that when drunk

a major teeth grinder of mine for a while now - why do shops put shoes for people with idiotically small feet on the TOP SHELF and normal and larger sizes on the lower shelves WHY?

Surely if you have small feet it follows you are a bit small - me size 3 5ft 1" - almost gave myself a permanent neck injury trying to see what was in the sale in my size - and gave up as I couldn;t reach

I could see all the 5,6,7,8's though

If your are 6ft 4" with size 3 feet I think you would fall over

I suspect they do it so they can hide round the corner and snigger at the short arses trying to by big girl shoes - the bastards

I've never thought about it like that but it's true! I struggle to find shoes that fit me as they are always tucked away right at the back of the bottom shelf. Write to the head office and point out their design flaw. They may actually listen.

I hear you, although I'm the opposite end of the scale and have to get on my knees to look at the size 8/9's. Bloody daft it is.

Sweeping generalisation. My mum is 5ft 2 and wears a size 7.

it's crazy - Iamaredsmartie you are one your knees - they are probably eye level for me Grin

It has always confused me! I am 5ft and a size 5 so find it very frustrating!
