Got a picture from Dp showing me nursery teddy has come to stay.

Cue mutual groans when children gone bed as we remember when ds had similar and it was a rush to get done.

Im sure these things are done for amusement factor so come on give me some funny things to get Ted to do!

We have him for a whole week!

Broken Sunglasses - aiming at a 2 yo rather than the parents is a sweet idea. But this has been my first experience of these parents (and their first experience of us), the parents of children who my DD will go to school with. This is the beginning of an 18 year relationship with some of these people. First impressions count Wink.

YANBU to dread NT visit! Ours persisted through Year 1. Many close up shots of DC in uniform with NT ... cropped so nothing else showed. And brief description of the fun NT had during the week. Worst part was convincing (bribing, yelling) YR1 DC to write the narrative in the diary themselves. Easier for me to fake their comments for previous years and print them in the diary. By YR1 they had to do it themselves. The AGONY!

My friends took NT to blackpool for a lovely weekend of fresh air and fun....and lost him. Cue much searching of charity shops for a ringer. Finally found one almost identical but a bit smaller... apparently they told the kids been poorly and lost some weight when he returned to nursery Hmm

Ours could have been titled Bear Digs a Grave.
One of our pets died the weekend nursery bear came to visit, I blamed him.

I'd be so tempted to get it a passport (that bear stuffing place has them) and either drop it off at the airport of send it to my relatives in Australia.

I hate nt. so lacking in imagination. last time we got it was the week after we'd been to a wedding up north so nt could have done something interesting. Dd is in a new class with a different nt now, and I can bet you anything we will get him next week, because this weekend we've got loads of things were doing. Meh.

love some of the ideas on here though. tempted by the crack pipe Grin

On a slightly different note a friend of mine has great niece's flat Stanley over from US (arrived in envelope) and had great fun bringing him to am dram rehearsal/posing by London bus

If you have older DC then delegate them the task of doing the drawings to fill up the book that came along with the teddy! Grin
