I was feeling quite smug when I was reading the threads about ore booking seats. Safe in the knowledge I was flying posh with BA.
What a joke, I've had more problems with BA than with Monarch!!

We'v e always had great experiences with Monarch.

Grammatically my op is awful. I agree mrs Bowie. What I meant was Monarch -cheap and cheerful, no probs nice flight.
BA- upgraded seats, booking process a nightmare.

Ah I see. Grin
Yes, airlines are great till there is an issue.

I love BA. We got up graded to 1st class flying out on holiday recently. Grin

We generally fly Easyjet or KLM. (as both fly from our local area) both have been brilliant even in difficult circumstances (recent examples include : when I was on crutches, when there was a software glitch and there was problems checking us & luggage through transfers to onward destinations)
We've only regularly had problems with Jet2 on the Chambray flight in ski season as it's such a small flight it always seems to get bumped /delayed/cancelled if there is a problem. It's always chaos and no information is ever available. Last time we opted to drive further and fly Easyjet to Geneva, was much better and quicker even with the longer drive.
